Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026 · Effective: 6 August 2026

Everyday Lab (info-life.net) has no accounts and collects no names, contact details or other directly identifying information. Third-party services do run on the site, though, for advertising, traffic measurement and sharing. This page sets out what actually passes through.

1. What we collect ourselves — nothing

There is no sign-up, no login and no comment system. No screen on this site asks for a name, phone number, address or national ID.

Whatever you type into a calculator stays in your browser. Salaries, deposits and loan amounts are computed locally and never sent to a server or stored.

2. What is recorded automatically

WhatWhereWhy
Access logs (IP, browser, request time)Cloudflare (hosting)To serve the site and block abuse
Analytics cookies and identifiersGoogle Analytics 4To see which articles get read
Advertising cookies and identifiersGoogle AdSense and its partnersTo serve ads and count performance
These are processed by each provider under its own policy. The site owner sees reports in aggregate only and cannot identify individual visitors.

3. What stays in your browser

To order the calculators on the home page by how often you use them, a value called ilsang_tool_use is kept in your browser's local storage. Opening a calculator increments the count for that page.

It is never sent to a server. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.

4. Advertising — what you can turn off

This site serves ads through Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

5. Third parties and international transfer

The following providers operate on this site. Their servers are outside Korea, so data is transferred internationally in the course of processing.

The Kakao script loads on article pages that carry the share button, whether or not the button is pressed.

6. Retention

The site owner keeps no visitor data. Retention by the providers above follows each provider's own policy.

If you email us, that email is kept so we can reply and follow up, and deleted on request.

7. Your rights

Because this site holds no information that identifies you, there is nothing here to access, correct or delete. What you can do is block cookies and personalised advertising directly, using the links in section 4.

Rights over data held by Google can be exercised through your Google Account.

8. Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 14.

9. Contact

Replies usually take two to three days. Complaints about personal data handling in Korea go to the Personal Information Infringement Report Centre (118); the reporting and mediation process is set out in the Ministry of Government Legislation’s plain-language guide.

10. Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. Material changes are posted here before they take effect.
