Morning of Day 6

Still 277lbs. Hmmm. The slightest twinge of doubt emerges. I see I forgot to enter yesterday’s morning weight, but it also was 277lbs. So the first week thus far has been:

  • Mon: 282
  • Tue: 275 (-7)
  • Wed: 273 (-2)
  • Thu: 277 (+4)
  • Fri: 277 ( 0)
  • Sat: 277 ( 0)

So that’s three consecutive days without a loss. It’s probably not significant, and a good example of why not to weigh yourself every day. But maybe not. Let’s not worry just yet. In a few days, I’ll start tracking a rolling average. With that approach, plateaus should disappear - or if they do arise this early in the diet, they are a genuinely bad sign. Here’s what the first week would look like so far:
